Tetrapolar Enters Open Beta

Tetrapolar has launched its platform in open beta, expanding access to its bitcoin-native escrow service for high-value transactions.

During the beta period, the platform supports on-chain bitcoin transactions only. Deals may be denominated in bitcoin (BTC) or U.S. dollars (USD). For USD-denominated deals, the platform tracks the BTC/USD exchange rate and settlement occurs at the rate effective at the time of settlement.

Transaction limits for the open beta are set at a minimum of $1,000 and a maximum of $100,000, denominated in BTC equivalent at the time of the transaction.

Key management is handled through software signing in the browser. Keys are generated and stored entirely within the user’s browser and are not transmitted to or stored on Tetrapolar servers.
