Introducing Milestones: Escrow Settlement in Installments
Release deal funds in installments with our new Milestones feature.
Tetrapolar has added Milestones, a new feature that allows for deal settlement in installments. Milestones let buyers and sellers structure deals around phased deliverables instead of all-or-nothing settlement.
With Milestones, a single umbrella deal gets broken into a group of standard escrow contracts (up to 20) — each with its own payment amount but the same release criteria and currency. Every milestone is a full standalone escrow contract under the hood, which means each phase is secured by our existing non-custodial multisig architecture and can be released independently as its conditions are met.
This is available now for BTC on bitcoin mainchain and USDT on Liquid. Existing users will see the milestone option when creating a new contract from their dashboard.
